    1. A big print to brighten a cold day! I'm experimenting with making a short sleeve jacket out of a cotton sateen - for the big bright print on it. I'm using LOADS of interfacing and hair canvas so hoping it will work - it if does, I can see it opening up lots of new printed jacket options in the future.

    1. I'd use Simplicity 1366, but drop the shoulders (and maybe a few other modifications) and possibly the Tokyo jacket (as a bit of a shape/length guide) and I think it would be pretty easy to do. Looks like you could do it unlined with a double faced wool, looking at the bottom and sleeve bands. Oh if only I could justify it....
